Here’s this week’s Clairity Click-it, leading off with a provocative piece about the state of the charitable sector and roaming through a mix of interesting and useful nonprofit marketing and fundraising tips — all designed to help you be the best you can be. Enjoy!
Changes in Philanthropy
Click-It: Philanthropy Reconsidered: The Paradigm Shift is a fascinating, thought-provoking article – the first in a series – by Linda Spencer of Living For Purpose. The parts I found most fascinating are (1) that the number of “active” charities is far, far less than most of us believe, (2) Millenials, who act far differently than previous generations, will be 75% if the work force by 2025. Social Media Measurement
Click-It: 5 Unique Ways to Measure and Evaluate a Social Media Campaign on the Buffer blog offers some different perspectives on calculating return on engagement. Are you counting numbers of follows? Read this and think about the metrics that really matter to you. Action metrics; not vanity ones. If you’re at all geeky, you’ll love this post!

Very interesting.
